PMR RESULTS DAY is today. PMR candidates have been waiting for this day so long. Before the day comes, everyone is posting statuses in facebook, mentioning about how they feel. Most of them are really nervous about the results. Initially, I felt very relaxed and calmed. After I saw their statuses, my mind starts to think about the consequences if I got unexpected results. Last night, I can hardly sleep because I wanted to know my results earlier. SO, this morning, I woke up and checked facebook again. Many of them were at school early in the morning already. After having a light breakfast, daddy fetched me to school. Before entering to school, I took a deep breath. My pulse was racing fast and my palms were getting sweatier. The first person I met was Hengye. She crossed her hands and grimaced. I bet she had already taken her results. As what I've expected, she scored straight A's. Clever girl. LOL. Then I quickly asked her about my results because I knew she already took a look on my results. Surprisingly, I SCORED STRAIGHT A'S FOR PMR. WTF. SO DAMN EXCITED. I have no need to fidget about taking the PMR-slip anymore. With elation, I walked up to the class with her to take my certificate and PMR-slip. I took the PMR-slip from my teacher. Again, I felt so delighted. I double-checked the information on the PMR-slip. YES, IT'S FOR ME. STRAIGHT A'S. *cemerlang yeepeee* After that, I quickly gave a phone call to my mummy. I lied to her that I got 7A's and 1B. She sounded disappointed but keep telling me that it's okay until I told her that I actually got straight A's. HAHA. Mummy get fooled by me. *grimaced* Then I met up with my classmates to know their results. Congratulations to all straight A's babies! To all buddies who got unsatisfied results, it's okay. It's never too late to improve yourself guys. Get to know your weakness and strive harder next year. ;)
THANK GOD FOR THIS INVALUABLE PRESENT. (:

ReplyDeleteHi there, congrats for ur pmr results.
ReplyDeletefyi, im a working professional and I have staff under me. Of course the company policy is always to take the bright people with straight A's.
The sad thing what I notice, most this straight A's or 4 flats graduate unable to perform their jobs excellently as they cannot relate what they read in a book to the jobs needs.
Malaysian education seems to produce books worms graduate but unable to cope with pressure and to think outside the box to do the job. In short they are unable to think but can recite very good what in a book.
I hope you won't make the same mistakes. try to develop your thinking process and expose yourself to the outside world by joining extra curricular activities. my 5 cent advice is not only for you but for all other young students out there.
thanks.
Jess~! Im so proud of you! HAHA! you make all the chinese proud...=P haha! (No offense to other races)
