We had Korean food a few days ago in conjunction with the upcoming Father's Day celebration. We sort of celebrated daddy's day in advance not because daddy wants a celebration or anything. Instead, it was due to mummy's craving for Korean cuisine after Aunty Mun's recommendation of Nak Won BBQ Restaurant.

We visited Nak Won on a weekday but almost all the seats were occupied! 

No idea why they put the Teddy Bear there lolll!

Here are the three different types of spices they served! I like the second one the best, it's like a mixture of seasoning oil, sesame seeds and salt.

One of the best things about Korean cuisine is their vastness of SIDE DISHES! What's more, the side dishes are all refillable!

Their Kimchi is not that spicy; Seasoned vegetables are super appetizing!

BBQ Pork Belly. Not as good as I thought, rather bland.

Ginseng Chicken Soup! It's really savory with a whole spring chicken, stuffed with glutinous rice and boiled in a broth of Korea Ginseng. 

Marinated Chicken grilled to perfection. We're all glad that this didn't turn us down. I love how juicy and tasty the meat chunks were! Couple it with a slice of cabbage and expect a taste of paradise. ;)

Fried cuttlefish with chicken. Quite spicy! And the proportion of cuttlefish to chicken was quite disappointing as we could only find 5 small slices of cuttlefish in the pile. The rest were chicken chunks, cucumbers and other vegetables. :(

In a brief highlight, the side dishes are wonderful appetizers to kick start your meal; and the marinated chicken is a highly recommended main course, if you ever plan to visit Nak Won!
