Goku Raku Ramen & Hokkaido Ichiba's Dessert

How good it is if I could travel to Japan with my girlfriends? I swear it would be extremely fun because we all love Japanese food; be it Sushi or Ramen!

Finally the Big Four is back! LOL. We decided to hang out on a Friday night to Mid Valley for a simple dinner. Dinner aside, actually what we value the most is our bonding time together! Natalie fetched us there that day and I always admire her because she can drive independently unlike me. T__T Anyway, I will keep practicing! (in hope I can drive like her one day haha!)

So Natalie suggested us to have our dinner at Goku Raku Ramen which is located in Mid Valley since we had never tried it before.

So this is the pink lover drinking her favorite green tea.

Goku Raku Ramen is well known for their Ramen. (Duh...) Besides Ramen, they also serve other kinds of side dishes such as the Japanese Goyza, salad, A La Carte sides (such as spring rolls, dumplings) and also desserts! It surprised me that they actually serve desserts such as Creme Brulee and Cheese cake!! Gonna try them out next time! :B

Oh! And another thing I was curious about is the price of the Ramen. There are actually three choices of portion for each and every kind of Ramen: you are free to choose whether you want it to be small, medium or large. Undoubtedly, the prices are supposed to accord the respective size but I noticed that their Medium and Large bowl of Ramen are actually of the same price lololol.

We decided to order 2 large bowls of Ramen so that we can share them. In that case, we can also save our money for desserts! Wise? :P

So this is our Ultimate Ramen with Miso soup. It was indeed a very large bowl! The ramen noodles coupled so well with the uniquely fragrant and tangy Miso soup. To top it off, the sliced pork and other toppings made the bowl of Ramen ultimately perfect! *yumss*

Here comes the Tonkotsu Ramen. The Tonkotsu soup is their lightest soup base which has been brewed for several hours so that the sweetness of the pork essence can be infused into the broth. According to Nat, it is very tasty and appetizing but a bit too salty for her.

We also ordered this sesame sushi roll to satiate our sushi-craving! :B
