Polka Dots

Polka dots always remind me of childhood - the olden days where my mum would dress me up in a pink dress with polka dot prints so that I would look like a little princess in a fairytale.

And I used to think I really look like a princess with that dress hahahahah. Just joking! (I think I would definitely be the Minnie Mouse #2 if I wear that costume now lolol)

Just in case you forgot how Minnie looks like...lolol

Anyway, polka dots no longer linger within the bounds of children's clothing anymore! This funky  pattern makes a loud and proud comeback this year and is often being described as one of the most vintage yet pluckiest patterns in the fashion trend. I personally adore polka-dot patterns a lot as they can effortlessly add a retro yet whimsical appeal to any ensemble. All in all, the polka-trend is timeless.

Polka dots are not only designed for teenagers as they are now an essential print and a signature staple favored by high-street fashion brands:

One of my favorite fashion labels - Topshop

So after witnessing a few examples above, here's a blog entry on how I dressed up in polka dots, not in pink and white but in monotone!
