I've always wanted to meet Priscilla Wong in person because she looks so pretty and cute in all the TVB dramas! Finally, my wish was granted as I was invited to an event organised by H2O+ last Sunday and Priscilla Wong is one of the brand ambassadors!!! The other brand ambassador is an inspiring actor and singer from our very own country, Aric Ho! *applauses*
So the event took place in 1Utama! The venue was already very crowded by the time I reached. I guess everyone came early so that they could get a good view of the brand ambassadors! As a blogger, I was ushered into the VIP and Media area, hence I managed to meet them at a super close distance!! :D
Before I blog about the event, here's a brief introduction about H20+ !
H2O+ is a global beauty brand which embraces the sea’s bounty of powerful vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and marine algae, etc. They come up with special formulations that hydrate, protect and rejuvenate the skin without oil. These marine nutrients are combined with state-of-the-art delivery systems which creates a wonderful skincare collection that is natural and has high performance.
Some pastries for us while waiting for the brand ambassadors to show up.
*pop* They are here!!! Once they arrived, the fans screamed in enthusiasm! And I was totally attracted by Priscilla's heartwarming smile. It just melts me to the bones.
Both the brand ambassadors are very friendly as they waved and greeted their fans passionately.
I personally think that their tagline "I'm FINished with fins" is really creative and inspiring!!
Both the brand ambassadors shared their experiences of using H2O+ skincare products, especially the H2O+ Collagen 8000 Drink! Priscilla and Aric both agreed that the Collagen Drink is really effective as it gives radiance to the skin naturally.
The brand ambassadors did not only aim to promote the products. At the same time, they also encouraged people to develop a deeper appreciation for the marine lives, especially the sharks. People were also encouraged to take a pledge to be over and FINished with shark fins.
Lets be truthful to ourselves, shark finning is one of the most brutal ways of animal abuse. People catch the sharks, cut their dorsal fins, and throw them back into the sea. Sharks cannot navigate without their dorsal fins, you can already picture what is going to happen to them. Of course, in no time, they drown. They die. Just like that. Finning is seemingly worse off than killing the sharks directly, because the process of dying is slow yet agonising. It's nothing less than a slow torture before a being's death.
Whether you are an individual consumer or a restaurant owner, you can definitely help saving the sharks by stopping the consumption or sale of shark fins!
I was lucky enough to be able to meet and greet Priscilla and Aric on the stage!! It was such an unforgettable moment! ♥
