Joanne and I visited the Pulp, a cafe located in Jalan Riong, Bangsar right after attending the Dr.Brandt Bloggers' Event which was held in BSC.
Honestly, I never knew the existence of this hidden gem until I came across THIS post, which was frequently shared by many of my friends in Facebook. (Even though Pulp is in KL, I guess I will never find out about this cafe if I did not read the post.) Click on the link, and you'll find a list of top 40 coffee shops in KL, and Pulp is among the recommended ones.

Seriously, I thought this building was just another ordinary factory at my first glance.

And who says simplicity can't win a heart? I'm a big fan of simple yet artsy menus, like this one.

In PULP, they serve a medley of mouthwatering pastries and coffee.

For those who prefer cold beverages over hot drinks, you can try their Cold Brew Coffee.

It's packed even on a Wednesday afternoon.

After moments of dither, we finally made up our mind. Chocolate Truffle Cake, as recommended by the waitress. I'm not a big fan of chocolate but this one is totally an exception for me because it doesn't taste like the mainstream overly-sweet cakes you find everywhere. (Recommended!)

Chicken Pie.
Crispy crust. Creamy Fillings. Delicious!

Hot chocolate.

Had an impromptu photoshoot outside the cafe before we leave! Of course, all the photos were taken by Joanne.
