My Favourite Beauty Products in 2014

Hello people!!!

Today, I'm going to share with you my all-time favourite beauty products! Since 2014 is over, I thought I ought to write a recap on my favourite beauty products that I've been using for the past year. It actually didn't take me long to come up with the list - all the products mentioned below are the ones that I really, really enjoy using. I mean, if I have to spend a long time thinking what should be in the list, are the items listed even worthy to be in the list of my favourites at all?

Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post. Although some of the products I mentioned are sponsored, I am only mentioning my favourites - not that the other sponsored product of the same didn't work, but I'm choosing the one I personally prefer the most. All the products mentioned below work really well on me, and that's why I decided to share with y'all! :)
Note: Please mind that product may have varying effects on different users!

Alright, now sit back, relax, lo and behold!
Now lets go from head to toe, shall we?

Sunsilk Perfect Straight Hair Shampoo
The hair shampoo that I personally love the most is none other than this one. Well this is actually a sponsored product BUT I'm not gonna lie - I am totally in love with it. In fact, this is already my second bottle! (I bought one more after finishing the sponsored bottle) I love how it smoothens my hair (even without hair conditioner!) and also gives it a light fragrance!

L'oreal Keratin Smoothening Cream.
Every day, I apply the cream evenly on my damp hair after washing them. It's something like a leave-in conditioner/ treatment cream, and the best part is you don't even have to rinse it off! I love how it untangles and smoothens my hair every time I use it. As you can see from the photo, this bottle is emptying soon, and I'll definitely purchase a new bottle!

Bath and Body Works Shower Gel - Beautiful Day!
Beautiful Day is my favourite scent ever omg. The scent is not overly strong, musky nor fruity. It gives you nothing overdone but a light, fresh and inviting fragrance. It also also cleans and keeps your body soft and smooth with the magical touch of Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. ;)

L'Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream
Without a doubt, this is definitely my favourite hand cream. Ever.
Despite being slightly pricey, I think it really works great on my dry skin. My skin tends to get really dry easily sometimes, but I'm glad that I finally found a hand cream that works wonders on my skin. Sometimes, I even use it as a body cream, because why not? :P

Face (Skin care)

If you've been following my blog all these while, you would have probably known that I'm a big fan of Clinique skin care products!! I've already lost count of how many times I've raved about them on my blog, Instagram and even Youtube videos hehe.

Please don't be surprised that all of my skin care products are from the same brand, which is Clinique. Again, I'm not paid to do this for them. However, it isn't a coincidence too: Clinique is just a company which happens to be heading in the right direction which favours my preferences, if not everyone else's.

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap.
My all-time favourite cleanser goes to this bad boy! Its texture simply feels incredibly comfortable on my skin. More importantly, breakouts are much reduced with its intervention.

Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush
Rather than just working on its own, this brush maximises the effectiveness of the Clinique facial soap when they are used together. It's lightweight, waterproof, portable, chargeable - superbly convenient for you to bring along with you while travelling. The white bristles target on larger areas (e.g. forehead and cheeks), while the green bristles are specially made for smaller areas (e.g. nose and hairline). I just can't go a day without cleansing my face with this brush and the cleanser!

Clinique Clarifying Lotion
Bought this baby last November, and it has not failed me thus far. For the record, its job is to sweep the dull flakes, dead skin cells and excess sebum off your skin, prepping it for the application of moisturiser and makeup! With or without this lotion, the difference is very noticeable: it helps my skin to absorb the moisturiser much faster! This is the product I will always use after washing my face, before applying some moisturiser.

Clinique Moisturising Gel
BEST moisturiser ever!!! One fine day in Sephora, a beauty assistant tested a little of the moisturising gel on my hands, and I could feel that my skin becoming dramatically smooth in an instant. I fell in love with the texture! I've finished using my first bottle just recently, and without any hesitation, I went ahead and bought the largest bottle I could find because I JUST LOVE IT SO MUCH. It is the moisturising gel you will love too - thanks to its lightweight texture and more importantly, oil-free character. It can be absorbed into my skin really quickly, without leaving any grease or stickiness. I would highly-recommend this to people who have oily skin / combination-skin!! :)

Face (Makeup)

Stila Tinted Moisturiser
Got this as a Christmas present from my relative! I often use this as a makeup base and sunscreen. It's awesome how it can give my skin a glowing touch!!

To maximise protection of your skin, daily use of this moisturiser can be wise!

Benefit Porefessional Primer
This just might be the only primer that I would ever have, or ever want to have. Other than minimising the appearance of pores, it braces your skin for the application of foundation. What's so wonderful about this primer is that with a pea-sized amount, it can already do great wonders to your skin! Try it if you don't believe it. ;p

3ce Back To Baby BB
I have a lot of BB cream and makeup bases, but the 3ce Back To Baby BB cream has got to be my favourite! Love how it provides great coverage to my skin and at the same time, keeps my skin looking bouncy and dewy!! :)

3ce Concealer
Out of the 6 concealers I own, this one works the best for me. It hides my dark circles and flaws away, and the colour blends really well with my skin tone. The best part is, it doesn't make my under-eye area "cakey" or dry at all!

Nars Pressed Powder in Eden
I bring powder with me everywhere I go, you know, just in case I need a little bit of touch up here and there. Nars sent an angel to take care of that, and I am pretty satisfied so far! Love how it gives my skin a natural and matte finish.

Nars Orgasm Blusher
Ever since I bought this from Japan, I've been using it a lot!! It has a very girly peachy-pink shade with golden shimmer which gives your complexion a natural glow! Definitely my favourite blusher of all time!

Benefit Highbeam Highlighter
This little fairy is a bottle of something-I-can't-live-without!! It comes in handy when it comes to highlighting my nose bridge and also my cheek bones (because I have a typical Asian nose lolol). Highbeam does its job perfectly by adding a soft definition to my nose, making it appear taller. I'm always happy with the promising outcome!!!

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil
This pencil isn't just a pencil; it is a multi-purpose pencil to me. It actually serves as an eye liner (I loveeeee running them over my lower lash line to make my eyes "pop"!!), but sometimes I would use it as a eyeshadow or a highlighter.

Benefit Lollibalm
Easily my favourite lip tint balm, simply because it injects an instant moisture boost to my lips within an instant. Feels like a magical zing!

Auto Lipliner w/ Brush (03 Charming Pink)
I wasn't really a fan of lipliners, until I used this one from Cyber Colours!! You can find this lipliner from any Sasa outlet around you. Honestly, I think their products are underrated. It's cheaper than a lot of makeup brands out there, but it does just as good a job! This lipliner glides on easily on my lips (without giving a drying sensation) and defines the shape of my lips to my desires. Not forgetting to mention, the colour is extremely gorgeous! If you're looking for an affordable yet good lipliner, this one is definitely the no-brainer.

YSL Lipstick in Baby Pink
YSL lipsticks have been my favourite for a long time now, especially this one in its gorgeous shade. When it comes to choosing lipsticks, I will always choose lipsticks which are able to hydrate. I love those lipsticks that give me two things: a) a velvety-creamy texture, b) saturated colours. This one in my hand fulfills the criteria, and is therefore my absolute favourite!!

Contact lens
 Freshkon Alluring Eyes Colour Lens
My all-time favourite contact lens are none other than the Freshkon Alluring Eyes Colour Lens in grey and black. I've been wearing them since 2 years ago, and I'm still like putting them on very much! I think they are by far the most comfortable and natural-looking coloured lens that I've ever worn. No plans of swapping them out for other brands anytime soon!

And there you go: all my personal favourite beauty products of the year!!!

Feel free to share with me any of your favourite beauty products that you would recommend to me, because I would love to hear from ya'll and give some of your recommendations a try!!! Thank you in advance heheheh. :P
