Work and studies have begun to encroach on my life lately.
These few weeks have been hectic.  Really hectic.

Apart from attending classes in uni on the weekdays, my weekends will be usually scheduled with plans and events. Last Saturday, I got to spend my afternoon with a lovely bunch of ladies at the Namesake Private Launch & High-tea session in Shangri-La Hotel, and I really can't believe it's already been a week since I attended this event! Well, I guess I just have no time to keep track of time when I get busy lolol.

If you haven't already known, Namesake: Named After You is a company selling customised bags made of full leather. Feel free to visit their Facebook page for more information!

Tagged along my girlfriend, Jxhia to the event too!

I love how we were all treated like VIPs during the event! The cards, souvenirs and even water bottles had our names labelled on them.

And yes, they also surprised each of us with a bouquet of fresh flowers. Just how sweet of them!
It's also my first time receiving flowers from others in my life....*don't laugh!*

Yay high-tea time with the girls!

These two gorgeous ladies here are the founders of Namesake!! They started this business together because they both share the same interest in collecting bags. They were really enthusiastic when they talked about how they love what they do and how everything began, and I felt genuinely happy for them for having attained such achievements today! Passion does take you further than you imagine huh.
Carrying the Lolli bag in baby blue! Isn't it cute?!!

I really couldn't decide which colour is nicer! What do you think?

Thank you Namesake for having us over!

On the following day, I got up from bed early to doll up, then head out to Sentul for a photoshoot with the team from Women Health's Magazine! Omg mom I'm gonna be on a magazine *squeals*

Here are some behind-the-scene snaps from the shoot! :P

Hehe guess what I was doing!!

I gotta say, despite having to juggle between my studies and work, I love my job.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.”
Steve Jobs
I simply can't agree more. It's only by doing what you love and loving what you that you can feel truly accomplished at what you're doing.

If you love your job, you wouldn't mind waking up early to go to work every morning. If you love your job, you wouldn't mind investing more time in learning and trying to excel in it. There are plenty of good reasons why you should do what you love, if not, learn to love what you do.

I certainly know that my job isn't the hardest job in the world as compared to many other jobs in the world, but that never means that it's simply a walk in the park for me. I believe that every job has its ups and downs, and that is inevitable. If not always, we often earn what we deserve, so at the end of the day it's really up to you to choose whether you want to overcome them optimistically or pessimistically.

It's your choice, you know.
