I have been reading and finding the right journals for my assignment since this morning. Let's not mention the number of journals that I have read here but I'm so glad that I've finally found a few that are related to the research topic that my group mates and I are working on.

It's been a while since I've written this kind of post, yes, on the weekly-outfit-inspirations that I've promised to update weekly (but failed). I apologise for not fulfilling my promise. It's just that the workload from school has been insane, not forgetting to mention the load coming from my part-time job. Well, I should be grateful that I still have time to come here and say hello to y'all.

I know I haven't been updating my blog as frequently as compared to how I used to. But I just want to tell you that I'm still the old Jessica, the one who cares about this blog, and more importantly you. I'll never forget my roots and the very motive due to which I founded this blog.

I don't really have plans for this weekend since the haze is so bad these days, so I figured it might be a good time for me to share with you some of my school outfits.
On Monday, wear gratefulness.
Don't think about the Monday blues. Be grateful that each day you are granted with the strength to wake up and see the world.

My kinda go-to outfit when I don't feel like dressing up at all on a Monday.
Woke up like this sweatshirt from Fashion Valet
Shorts from Forever 21
Sneakers from PUMA

Here are some other ways that you can rock the sweater!

On Tuesday, wear happiness.
Always remember that happiness is a choice. You are the only one who can control your own happiness, so never let anyone or anything dull your sparkle.

As you can see from my outfits, I don't really have a specific style. I'm just someone who dresses up according to my mood, and someone who dresses up the way I feel like at that particular point of time. Although I like being in monotonous outfits (like the one above), sometimes I also enjoy incorporating pastel colours into my coordinates, because why not? ;)

Tee from online (I don't remember which online store I got this from, sorry!)
Baby blue pleated skorts from Anticlockwise

Showing you some of the alternative ways to wear the tee and the tennis skirt! I believe the tee will just go well with any kinds of bottom! :)
On Wednesday, wear faith.
Yes the workload might be heavy and the work might be a hard nut to crack, but keep your head up and have faith in yourself. Believe in yourself, you can do more than you think you can.

Yup, I wore a black sweater again, but I decided to pair it with a tartan-printed skirt to add some colours to the entire outfit.

On Thursday, wear confidence.
Self-confidence is the best outfit, wear it and rock it. If makeup makes you feel confident, put it on. If wearing sneakers makes you feel confident, throw them on. Don't let the opinions of others consume you and drown your inner voice.

I guess this is my favourite outfit of the week because I'm still kinda obsessed with button-down skirts. The pinstriped, collared-shirt adds a sophisticated touch when paired with the denim skirt, which makes it more appropriate on days when you want to look more presentable for semi-formal presentations / meetings.

On Friday, wear passion.
If you have a dream, then chase after it with passion. Passion never fails. It's only your passion will take you forward and further.

I don't have classes on Fridays, but I usually spend my day completing my work. Since it's Friday, I decided to wear a something light and bright to usher in the weekend (but sadly, half of my Saturday is dedicated to reading journals lolol). Anyway, I've been loving my new DISC sneaker wedges from PUMA. It's one of the most stylish yet comfortable sneaker wedges that I've ever owned. I can totally envision myself in many kinds of outfits with this pair of sneaker wedges!! Can't wait to show you the ways I would style these babies. Here's one for starters!

On a side note, my fringe is getting longer and I'm glad to see that my hairstyle is finally transitioning to something fresh and (hopefully) better. Also, my purple hair lasted for more than 1 month and it is now gradually fading into a soft reddish pink tone. The fact that the colour has stayed on my hair for this long has definitely impressed me! Thank you Centro Hair Salon, you guys are amazing!!

I hope you guys like this post, leave a comment and let me know which outfit is your favourite!

Thank you for reading and love y'all!

  1. U added PUMA as your new collection of sneakers! I love the 1st with slightly colorful and the last design with only black and white bottom!! Your sneakers inspiration always burn me hahaha. I was really happy because when I decided to grow my fringe to change my hairstyle, I realize that you decided to grow your fringe also! The journey doesn't seems to be easy and sometimes I even feel to give up and cut of my fringe! How long does you want your fringe to be?

  2. I love your Tuesday outfit because it looks so lively! :)

  3. Ahhh i love your outfit inspiration posts<3
