Hi beautiful people!

Instead of writing about my Japan trip today, I'm going to write about some of the products I got from TARTE!! I personally love Tarte's products a lot. I'm a big fan of the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation and 12-hour Blusher, as both of them really excel in their respective roles.

Recently, I've added some new babies into my Tarte family and they are the...

Tartelette in Bloom Clay Palette
Tarteist Clay Paint Liner in Black
Tarteist Lip Crayon in Latergram and Boho
Tarteist Lip Paint in Tbt and Namaste

*yay, welcome to the growing Tarte family!!*

So in this post, I'm going to share with all of you a makeup look that I have created with all these products + my thoughts about them!

So this is the look that I have created. *duh*

Alright, for the eye makeup, I started off by using charmer as an eyeshadow base. Then, I swept funny girl all over my eyelids. To add some definition, I blended rebel on my outer corner and into the crease. Next, I dabbed some firecracker to my outer corner to add a pop of brown. Then, I went back to funny girl again and pop it on the centre of my lids to brighten up my eyes. After that, I got charmer to highlight the brow bone and finally patted flower child to the inner corner of my eyelids.

Once done with the eyeshadow, I wear my favourite winged eyeliner with the Tarte Tarteist Clay Paint Liner in Black. (yes, it comes with an angled brush, which is the most handy angled brush I have ever used thus far)

Inspired by the ease of an artist's palette, this revolutionary cream eyeliner features a tapered applicator with a flat blending stage to allow the user to pick up the ideal amount of product easily. Besides, I swear, the angled brush makes drawing eyeliner SUPER easy.

Thanks to the creamy formula and angled brush, my eyeliner is much more defined, sharper and smoother. #eyelinergamestrong

Moving on to the lips, I used the Tarte Lip Crayon in Latergram to line and define the shape of my lips.

Then, I topped it off with the Tarte Lip Paint in Tbt.

Lastly, I finished the look with some contouring!

Okay, here's a clearer and closer look of the palette + swatches!!

From the left: Charmer, Jetsetter, Rocker, Smokeshow (first row on the pan)

Charmer is a very light, neutral beige eyeshadow with a matte finish. It has a smooth and soft consistency, however, the colour payoff is not really great (in my opinion). Yet, to be fair, it's definitely buildable.

Jetsetter is a medium-to-dark brown shade with a matte finish. The colour payoff is better than Charmer and it has a very smooth consistency as well.

Rocker is my favourite shade among these 4 shades. It has a slight sheen and the texture is very soft.

Smokeshow is a deep brown-to-black shade with a fairly great pigmentation and matte finish. Definitely a baby for smokey eyes.

From the left: Activist, Firecracker, Smarty pants, Flowerchild (second row on the pan).

Activist is a rich espresso brown colour with a matte finish as well. As you can see from the swatch, the colour is pretty pigmented. However, the texture is drier than the others, so it may take a little more time to blend.

Firecracker is a gorgeous, medium-dark copper shade with shimmery pigments. The colour payoff is pretty good!

Smarty pants is a light brown shade with orange undertones and a matte finish.

Flower child is a milky peach shade with warm undertones and a matte finish. I like the fact that it's light and soft, but the colour payoff isn't really great. Also, the texture is a bit dusty, so it fade off pretty quickly.

From the left: Leader, Rebel, Sweetheart, Funny Girl

Leader is a dark brown shade with red undertones. It has great colour payoff, smooth texture but can be quite dusty.

Rebel is a medium-dark shade with warm undertones. It's the colour I used to create my look above and I think the colour came out really nice! Also, it was not difficult to blend too.

Sweetheart is literally a sweetheart with peachy pink undertones, which is a gorgeous colour for everyday makeup.

Funny Girl is a light-medium champagne gold colour with shimmer. It's great for highlighting, and I love its smooth consistency.

Yup, that's it for the Tartelette in Bloom Clay Palette!

Tarteist Lip Paint in Tbt

Tarteist Lip Paint in Namaste

Now, the lip products are ready to meet y'all.

From the top:
Tarteist Lip Paint in Tbt
Tarteist Lip Paint in Namaste
Tarteist Lip Crayon in Latergram
Tarteist Lip Crayon in Boho

I apologise if this sounds cliched, but I really love Tarte's lip products!!!! When I first applied the Tarteist Lip Crayon on my lips, it just glided on super smoothly on my lips! It's got an automatic precision tip, which helps to accentuate, sculpt and extend your natural lip line. Besides, it also leaves your lips primed and coated with vitamin E and mineral pigments that help soothe, nourish and protect your lips. To triple the awesomeness, this lip crayon is freaking LONG-LASTING. The colour still remained vivid on my lips even after me having a meal. Convinced yet? ;)

Next, let's talk about the Tarteist Lip PaintThe Tarteist Lip Paint comes in an array of shades with a custom precision wand that glides over lips smoothly before drying down to a sophisticated, velvet matte finish. The Tarteist Lip Paint in Tbt is a mauve nude shade while the Tarteist Lip Paint in Namaste is a nude pink shade. Both are EQUALLY AS BEAUTIFUL so it all depends on your mood!!

Tip: Apply the Tarteist Lip Paint after the Tarteist™ Lip Crayon to perfectly prime and enhance your natural lip line.

(which is one of the main reasons why I LOVE and SUPPORT this brand)
